To receive a bonus you must acquire four squares in the bonus area. However, every square has a negative one army deduction. For instance, if you acquire a four square territory that gives a bonus of six, you will actually only receive two of the bonus armies because of the negative attributes of each of the four squares. Functional and interesting novelty map, as Methex pointed out. Thank you for the map.

Nice use of negative bonuses. Don't play with any AIs - they are crap with negative bonuses.
