another impossible map, great. i think ive actually tried every possible opening, nothing you can do. dumb. (you have to build cities to get gold, still impossible...)
EDIT: I've also now done this about 17 times waiting for the skip to become available and still no skip. maybe because you get steamrolled in 3 turns so it doesnt think you've tried hard enough? about to quit this game from this website, F this. F it hard.

The high-value central block certainly gives you something to struggle for, but once you've captured it the endgame is predictable. Fortunately, by that stage the endgame is also mercifully quick. In a future version, perhaps an intermediate level of territories/bonuses to fight over? A minus bonus (x number armies subtracted for certain squares)? Direct connections between the top and bottom rows?

Map is unplayable in single player mode. If you get past the 3rd turn by accident your still incapable of building enough to beat the massive armies that also come for you. Any cities you are able to build just end up helping the enemy in the long run. Worst of all, the site keeps you on this level getting throttled for too many games. It was soo bad I wrote a 2nd 1 star review, though from all the negative posts I doubt it matters.

No fun at all playing that map. If you build cities, then you can't add armies and get defeated. If you choose to get armies after building a city or two, you're overwehlmed by the enemy. Either way you loose. The worst ? After 40 tries, I still can't skip this map... So long Warzone, I'll never get the chance to play the last maps...

It seems to be like most people are rating this based on the level (which I haven't reached yet). I will give a regular opinion
The lack of bonuses is really weird at first but does require some skill. However, this map then doesn't reward for skill as much so playing with cards and 1 army per x territories (i think x should be 1-3 on this) is necessary. I do like the concept though. I would give it a 4 since its also something new but I'm giving it a 5 to balance out the reviews based off of the level.
