I like fighting on large continents, especially this one. You get a sense of massive war and it makes the game that much more thrilling. This map can take several several several players.

The detail is extrodinary - a lot of research went into creating this very fine map. The small regions really affect gameplay and give you a sense of graound gained an inch at a time through heavy fighting. Wonderful!

Great map. There are 2 or 3 tiny errors, such as not being able to transfer armies between Bie and Huila in South Angola, Namibia being spelled "Nambia", etc. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

Still a classic. Just a couple things I noticed this time through. Bie should connect to Huila (South Angola). Also, there are two territories named Sangha, albeit one is the C.A.R. and one is in the Republic of Congo.

Great map, but think a few ocean shortcuts would make this a 5 star map. Realistically speaking, if Madagascar is included, we're playing with an ocean fleet, so it's kind of odd that every other territory travel is fully landlocked.
But overall very well done.

1/5. We found this map to be a complete clusterFXXX when attacks began. The problem is that there are so many tiny territories all mashed together with no natural barriers that is becomes impossible to defend anything. A single territory often has 5 others just on one flank. If you want to hold onto a bonus, you are forced to spread your defending armies across many territories and makes it easy for the attacker to spearhead through. That's the problem with too detailed real world maps, they don't work well with the Warlight system. This map is a geography lesson, and not a good playable map.

Well, I was doing pretty well, had a half-decent position down, growing steadily. Then all of sudden, along come "CAPTAIN BOOT" and boots all of our best players. They were definitely in gamewinning, or at least gamechanging, positions; the only way their team had a chance was to boot them, which is exactly what they did!
Meanwhile, Kialra was being crap as usual. However, I will concieve, if she had a location closer to my person, then perhaps she would've been useful. As it was, she never really got involved.
