Battle Islands I

I like the push on expansion outside the starting zones, makes things interesting

great balance and fun

It would be 5 stars if the corner islands were not connected North island to South island. This connection makes these corners almost impossible to keep, as each corner island is connected to 4 different bonuses spread over the entirety of the map, and the small amount of armies from the bonus makes them worthless to actually hold.
In addition if this was a map of an actual location it would need to be shaped like a doughnut for the corner islands to be connected as they are.

very well balanced - not to complicate.
it is very nice to play this map with 6 gamers - if everyone focusses on one isle, there will be someone getting eliminated quite soon - and in the end it needs some affort to conquer the whole map - i liked it!

Unique strategy, the only problem is, it is un-friendly to novices(They have no chance of beating someone who understands the basic idea of the map, unless the bonus values are changed).
