Maybe it's because I'm from Europe myself, but I find this map far more entertaining than "USA Big" (where many states are little more than grid cells). Of course, it'll take some time to finish a game! :)
Its realism does mean you'll have to pay close attention to what you're doing: there are unfortunately a few places where connections are not entirely clear and the map contains some non-contiguous bonuses (Azerbaijan, Russia (don't forget Kaliningrad if you want your 108 armies!)) and even a non-contiguous territory (Boryspil). Tip for East Russia: you cannot attack across those big rivers and lakes, but some territories have a part on each side of the river, allowing you to cross.
The "Capital Cities" and "Dwarf Countries" bonuses give you an overview of all the capitals and dwarf countries in the map. While there are no bonus markers for it, each capital city and dwarf country *by themselves* is also worth 1.

Very good, excellent map. But i found two mistakes: Medimurje (Croatia) is a part of Slovenija, and the Oristano-Mallorca route isnt very well, Menorca-Oristano is much better. Pls fix these mistakes . I love this map, I think its the best.

the bonus from france is too big in my opionion compared to e.g. italy;
sure there are more borders but it's WAY faster to reach than italy.
until one has obtained the italy-bonus, france has given the enemy an advantage just too big.

There is no point in putting together a map with such small nations. They are unable to compete so why both having them. Reducing the number of nations and you reduce the number of people likely to bail on the game round two.

This is one of my favorite maps of all time purely due to its size. Without custom scenarios, games last for hours.
My only complaint is that Austria, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland don't have an individual bonus, just a superbonus, when there are political regions that they could be divided into. 5 stars.

I am a fan of the map; I think it's decently accurate. The main problem is, just like in real life, Russia's going to win each time if the other countries don't do anything about it. It's a good game, just need smart people to play it.

Fantastically detailed and thoroughly enjoyable! 5 stars all the way. I especially love the use of lakes and rivers as boundaries.
There are a couple of missing connections:
Engels - Marks [sic] (ironically) in Saratov Oblast.
There were two others, but I sure can't remember where they are.
There was also a connection that shouldn't exist between two non-adjacent territories, but I can't remember where they are, either.

Great, we had an epic battle! In the end it came down to me with 300 armies per turn, versus another guy with 300 armies per turn and let me tell you, it came down to those last armies, but I prevailed. I would like to congratulate my opponent, whose name I shall not mention for confidential reasons. Definitely play this map!

I really don't like having to jump between the larger map and smaller map to see where a countries border is. I play on a phone so its very awkward. Why not colour code the larger map or find another way to make it MORE obvious where one country starts and another ends.
