The center connecting to all territories though not new, was interesting enough to warrant one game, no flaws, it just does not last long once the board is controlled, and that only takes a few turns

Now THAT was a really FUN map! Just saw that the gold star was 12 turns, can't wait to see if I can do that (it took me 27 on my 1st attempt). Very well done map, simplistic but you actually need to use some strategy to win. I do agree with the other people who say that the center territory should be a negative bonus, that would make it even a little more strategic. That said, this is by far my favorite map so far, great job! I usually hate diplomacy cards because they only seem to benefit the AI (using them right before you can get a gold on most maps I've seen that have them) but I can actually see some use for them on this map. 5 stars !!!!

The amount of tiles that can reach the middle section is so high that - regardless of how the level is setup - this becomes a 100% luck based games.
Whoever gets the first or last move to hold on to the middle area will have a major advantage as you can't defend against all the territories that are under threat at the same time at that point.
