I am not submitting a review but I will have you know as creator of http://warlight.net/Map?ID=5019.This looks and feels to me as though you traced over my map and added East Asian territories.

1/5 very poor. You have just copied a map already made, the exact same shape islands in the same places, as well as the same bonus values. The only credit I can give you is the extra Indochina added. But that doesn't help, cause it's not part of the pacific?

I remember this map (or a very similar one)....

Anway: on the map I remember then there were some connections in Australia, and they still miss....

Did you resubmit an old map?

Otherwise: I still love this map. Many different tactics possible, many connections making it difficult to fortress something and then bulldoze over the map.

in Australia:
Gregory South <-> Central Australia South
Central Tablehends <-> South Tablehands <-> Central Westslopes <-> Northern Plains
Western Highlands <-> Western Plains
Eyre <-> Avon

other missing ones:
Maluku <-> North Maluku
Kiukera <-> Makemau

Solid map. It does a pretty good job of avoiding the linear island-hopping that plagues most maps of this region. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the many, many broken connections in southern and eastern Australia. Nice work, otherwise.

2/5 because of many missing and confusing connections. If missing connections were corrected than I will change rating to 3/5. Also, Mindano in Philippines should be Mindanao.
