These types of maps offer a refreshing change of pace. I think I might try it next with the ships as massive wastelands.

While I like the bonuses for specific points of interests, I missed bonuses for whole regions (e.g. Lands of Mordor; The Shire; The Brown Lands; ...)

What happened to the connection between the Desert of Nafarat and the Sunland Desert? This map also feels a bit unbalanced if you start off in one of the major cities.

A very good adaption, it would be better if there was bonuses on entire countries (i.e. Gondor or Rohan).

Crazy map that (probably) needs some less army giving points, but its amazing to fight with so many armies with friends.

Good map, But the only issue is that if you don't take some areas fast enough the AI can swarm your defences

this would have been perfect for team battles, but i couldn't get the map to let me. also, why didn't it have Airlift card i had thousands of troops on one side of the map. I think i would have Rather a few key peices to have extra troops, but other wise, why not sections.. where you get bonuses.

With the bonuses as they are, the map balances poorly. Accurate to the LotR franchise though

I had problem fighting on this map. Bonus structure is not instantly visible, so I ended up with constant re-checking what bonus is where and keeping track of battle plan became quite complicated.

Very nice change to how the game plays, since there are no multi-region bonuses to worry about, it all becomes a matter of securing the high reinforcement areas and projecting from there

Pretty ridiculous map. Love middle earth, but bonuses for each individual territory... really? Basically a question of sheer force and luck.

Great map, love the bonus for each territory. I could easily see 30 players on this map.

Great map, especially using fog. Supports a large number of players and is fun to compare to the books.

I do not care for maps that have a bonus for each territory.
