Every warlighter who has played for some time knows a few famous faces that they see in forums games and generally everywhere. We all have thought, I wonder who is best out of these famous warlighters. Who would win against who? Well after some consideration I have decided to host a tournament to find out who is the best 'famous warlighter' around.

Well your properly thinking who are the 'famous warlighters'. Well that's were you come in. I have a list of some already but i am open to nominations. You can nominate anyone as long as they are a 'famous warlighter', map makers and common forum posters are classed as famous.

Settings
Your probably also wondering what the settings are going to be. Well were going to have 'Random Distribution', Cards and Kill rate from the Season VI. We are also having random wastelands. But the map is still undecided. I would like you lot to vote on what map you want to see them play in.
• Medium Earth - The standared 1 vs 1 map.
• Europe - The highest rated warlight map.
• Africa - A old favouite
• Eastern Asia - Good quality and fair.
• Something Else - I am open to suggestions.
Vote on what map as well, you can nominate a map as well but it will be checked vigoressly.

map i suggest a good one maybe Europe

For the map, i think perhaps we can Europe 1600. I think the Africa and Eastern Asia are too large for 1v1. Also, Europe is not a good 1v1 map in my opinion (if it is 1v1 that is) and strategic 1v1 is kinda boring. Europe 1600 is a medium map (i believe there is about 300 territories) and is new, yet familiar to most players. Also, my nominations are:

warflowvet {Warlighter}, newcomer but still comments on the forums occasionly.

{MC} ARC-77, since he created a few major forum threads and is the leader of a well known clan.

Mythonian, since he has co-created the streamed live torney and was an important part on making it happen.

Burgoo King, as he also comments a lot.

I feel honored to be a "famous warlighter" but I'd rather not participate in this tournament as I am already in too many games. I would also suggest Mythonian be added to that list, along with dunga and ska as said above by Alex.

Don't do Eastern Asia and Africa for sure because they are way too big for a good 1v1 game. Medium Earth is the best option imo. Some people like Europe though so it wouldn't be bad to do that. It's a little bit big but still playable for 1v1. East Asia & Oceania is another great map for 1v1 and 2v2. You should definitely consider using it.

There are many more, but if i listed them all, it would take a lot of room and i assume most of them will be nominated.

Of course, i would also vote for myself, for posting regularly on the forums, but i dont think im allowed.

Ehm, I think you may want to change the settings a bit. I don't think random distribution and random wastelands will work well together.

Keep comming with nominations and map seggestions, I will post a updated list in a few hours when more nominations come though.

I agree with Frank-Luck will have an even bigger factor in the games otherwise.

This is severely flawed, The Honorable ButtHead is not a regular to the forums, and this thread is relatively new, there are many older forum Commentators (such as RvW and AgressiveNumbers, both were active and have been famous on the scale that this thread entitles.)

I would say Min34, Agressive, Nike, and other perope who I can name right now, but am too lazy to remember, should be on that list.

Butthead and Traintown aren't famous here.

While incredibly honored to be mentioned in the above group, I'm not particularly fond of nor adept at 1v1- I'm more into the team aspect of WL. But if I were to take part it would for sure be Europe that I vote for, or if another map is chosen I would nominate Ryan as he is by far the most active CPU on the forums...

I dunno if i will take part however i a few cents and i also nominate cpu ryan because he has been mentioned in about 40 threads the same as me perhaps we should use the seacrh button to determine fame.
Butthead Mentioned in 7 threads not popular enough
Traintown mentioned in 17 threads not popular enough however he did make maps so that makes him famous.

1)Random distrubution and random wasteland is suicide the games will be terrible and mostly decided by the luck of the starts like russian roulette.
2)Dang it i forgot number 2 it will come to me later.

OOps just found out the search button can only show the best 40 threads so i think anyone who fills that limit should be allowed in the tournament.
