I would like to go for most stable A, I don't see us losing quickly in any scenario with those picks. Other possibilities have some long term problems, so go for A :)

I think A is good also, we need at least a piece of the first turn bonus in the Americas, and Scan provides a fast bonus.

B Isnt bad also as it allows us to grow before we go in for the kill.

Jup, A sounds the best. I personaly dont like D because of pick number 3.

D is workable but theres the risk of us getting the first 3 picks, and this is possible if Odin lays a 3,4,5 trap in the order SA,CA, WA. Also Caucasus isnt really a good counter, I prefer something sneakier.

considering mannehriem will pick FTB CA for sure, pick 1 SA 2 CA 3 EA and then 4 scan 5 russia 6 causasus would work great
In this way we get 1 beetween CA/SA, africa and a counter for North. in long run work better maybe.
we go 9v9 income most likely, with counter scan. nad if he take scan before other bonus we will easily break it.

D is interesting, but there is one specific option I am not sure I want to play against a risky strategy of 1/2 china 3/4/5 sa/ca/east africa 6 scan. He will be first to iran and will get caucasus. It is still probably winning, but wasteland in hawaii makes it a bit less viable. Also there is a much simpler reason, if we get 1/3/6 for example it's not that good for us since it is much easier for him to finish scan than for us to finish africa AND not get eliminated in caucasus. I'd think we'd have to face 8vs5 income situation on some turn and then we'd be in some trouble since he'd have all the options, going for caucasus elimination, going for ca maybe or sth else. We can win from those picks, but I doubt it really puts us in a better spot in best case scenario, not to mention what would happen if we get 2/3/4 or 2/3/5 playing against china, sa and scan/russia, he has easier access to africa than we have to china.

True, but ending up with 1,2,3 in that scenario would be bad. Also 4,5,6 is not the optimal choise this way I think (the players from the panel probably know this better than I do :p). Although I do understand why you can choose it and why you would do the picks like this, I simply think its not worth it.

Meh seems you don't like my style picking. Pick risk is the key for win. Anyway A is solid, i am sure will work fine.
But sze have right, play vs china would be bad.

It's not about style, it's risk vs reward, I just don't see how getting our "counter" puts us in a better position, I actually think it puts him in a better position.

I feel the same way as Min on this one. I really don't think you'd want to end up with 1,2,3 (so if Odin avoids the FTB and EA - which is very unlikely) and it may well lose the game because it would leave everywhere else open. Odin could even end up getting West Africa and being a pain there too. I don't think it's worth that risk, however small it may be.

I think it is worth the risk. I'm 100% sure Odin will not leave the FTB alone.

In that case, that is still what we doing :p We are taking the risk that we get 1st pick and stop his FTB

cmon, he will take FTB at 99,99%. there isn't another good option to pick.

Arun are you abusing the polls? The D option had only 7 votes for the last few hours, then it spiked to 13 within a few minutes. I saw a similar situation a few hours ago when the D option spiked from 2 votes to 7 all of a sudden. If you are behind it, please stop. I'm only talking to you because of suspicious results in your favour in previous polls (clan and player), and it seems like something you would do. If its not you, my apologies, but to that person please dont do this- it ruins the fun.

Results will be tallied tommorow or 2 days alter.
