I agree with Chris, Seems a bit unfair if its a "ranking" of sorts.. Points divided by # of members would be much more fair. Especially since we want to limit our clan to a relativity small number.
the absolute amount of points gives you a better picture of how likely are you to find one of their players in a game. thus, a clan with 30 players with 200k each is more relevant for the "wl community" than one with 5 players with 500k each
Does it really matter how likely are you to find any particular clan or its players in a game? Anyone can open a game and see for themselves who is in it. The "list" obviously is on a point system.. which moves any given clan up and down on the page based on those points. When there are points and movement,it sounds like a contest to me. In any contest someone will surly want to be on top. In that case there needs to be equity in how those points are used to determine "rank" on the clan page. Otherwise you have clans just inviting anyone and everyone for sheer points and not for their ability or enjoyment of the game at the very least. JMHO clans should be exclusive and folks should want to strive to be a good enough person/player to be invited into one.
