There are two games left in Season 3, but the outcomes of them will probably not affect the final standings for promotion and relegation purposes. Here then is a summary of the tentative set-up for season 4. I won't begin the new tournaments for a few days to allow for comments, questions and further sign-ups or retirements.

Each Group then shows its new players along with that player's results from season 3. I have not included results for retiring players as they do not figure into the new groups. There are some unexpected "double promotions" made necessary by resignations.

How will groups H1 and H2 work precisely? will they be at the same level? Will only 1 be promoted from each group? What will happen if too many groups get added(, eventually)?

To answer Bais:

The idea of H1 and H2 is to have manageable group sizes that are treated equally during the expansion phase. Thus, if there is room for only 2 promotions to Group G at the end of Season 4, the two winners of H1 and H2 would be promoted. If there are room for more, it would be done as obectively evenly between the two groups as possible.

If there get to be too many groups, one option is to increase the group sizes a bit.

As you say, the league is open to members and non-members alike. The league works best if most are in with a long-term interest.

Ordinarily there are no super-promotions. There probably will never be super demotions. Some Super-promotions were necessary for season 4 because of a large number of drop-outs and to keep groups of 6.

Sorry to double post, but here is further explanation of the above:

The rule of thumb is to keep groups at at least 6 and to have at least one player from each group relegate down. Groups D and E each had 2 retirees. So, for example, 4th place of E had to be relegated and the rest of E promoted to fill in enough for a 6-player Group D. Even so, Group D was short a player, and so number 1 of F benefits from the extra vacancy, rather than having all remaining players from E escape relegation. It doesn't necessarily always have to work that way, but it seemed the most consistent way and also promotes a bit more variety than having nearly an entire group stay together two seasons in a row.

Update: 2 further resignations have left 2 openings in Season 4, 1 in Group F, the other in Group G. The beneficiaries of these drop-outs are Ema20, who moves up to F and the earliest newcomers, FD and Bais who get a jump-start into non-expansion Group G.

I expect to get Season 4 started within a week.

3 of your competitors will be the same as you had in season 3, the other 2 will be new.

The unfortunate result of several resignations in a season is that, especially for the lower groups, it necessarily results in more promotions. Ordinarily, (apart from Group A) you should expect to see only one of the same competitors from one Season to the next, as is the case for everyone in Groups B and C.
