Ah. Joined. Was a bit curious how someone other than Fizzer could do this, so I was afraid it was a hoax. Cool thing to do man! What's the motivation behind this?

If I understand this correctly, the tournament champion gets a free membership.

I notice that there are participants who are already members, so would you give the free membership to the top-ranking non-member (assuming I understand correctly)?

Other than the host, no members have joined. Some are invited, but they haven't accepted (yet).

And yes, the champion should get a free memberhip paid by 00Dev.

V - Precisely. I only Joined because I had to Join in order to foreward invites. The membership has been paid for, is sitting in my e-mail account, and will be awarded to the winner of this tourney. The reason is explained in the info for the tourney. Fizzer, you're the man cheers all

Sorry if it sounded like it, but I'm not trying to say members shouldn't be allowed to participate, and I had assumed 00Dev's participation was required anyways. I'm simply asking how the reward will be handled in the event that a member does win (I think there are 4 participating including 00Dev).

That aside, thank you 00Dev for doing this, and good luck to all participants.

00Dev, I dig the idea. But such a small map, with 100 army neutrals? Yikes!

00Dev, if you're reading this:
It took a while, but it looks like your tournament has finished. Somebody with a positively unpronounceable name [┌∩┐⎝◣_◢⎠┌∩┐](http://warlight.net/Profile.aspx?p=275048501) won. Congrats!

Dear Mr Troll. you are not even trying to hide the fact that you are signed into an account created to clog this tournament by lowering the number of opponents, and raising your own chances. It is for this reason that you will not be awarded the Membership. For those interested, this is the game on which i am basing my decision.

http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer.aspx?GameID=1782963

The "winner" of the tournament is playing an opponent who is in fact his own self. This was inevitable, considering the sheer number of fake accounts (40-50 I beleive.)

In Every other game he played in this tournament, he selected as starting spots two to three strategically placed clusters, consisting of at least 5-6 picks, which is appropriate for the three starting spots he will get. But in this game, he only selects four. Essentially the same four are selected by his "opponent", and then the "opponent" surrenders immediately.

I would appreciate other people's input in this. It seems open and shut to me, but i would still appreciate some feedback from some of you guys, Especaily you Fizzer, if you're reading this

As it stands I am am prepared to award the membership to the runner up, Tartan, but will wait a few days, lest I make a terrible mistake

it seems a bit fishy, but he did beat many other players in this tournament, so I'd give him the membership.

Well, that is the risk of making a tournament with a prize with such weird settings. Most membership tournaments with strat. 1vs1 or similar standard settings are much more competetive, then you don't have to think about fake accounts seeing all the non-member top players. Also Fizzer should be able to track IP, e-mail addresses and so on of those accounts. It'd seem like a whole lot of work to make 40 fake accounts, 40 reliable fake e-mail addresses and wear an IP mask every time you log on to different account...

I believe the host. I highly doubt a person who fought all the way to the finals would instantly surrender on turn 1 because he didnt get the picks he wanted
