I simply think challenge #2 is unbeatable! It is 5 against 1 and they have 5 times the armies!

I thought that is exactly why challenge #2 is there. It is unbeatable, so people won't stop playing "single player" warlight game after the first day?

Elucidar being the third, beat challenge 2 version 4 in 53 turns. Mor having already beaten challenge 2 version 3 in 37 turns was not content with his turn value and has since beaten challenge 2 version 4 in a mere 30 turns.

My apologies Mor if I'm misrepresenting the motives behind your desire to take on the newer challenge which resulted in your having a lower turn score. I'd seen with the other single player games you'd made an extra effort to lower your turn score to be the best for each one and overlooked that for challenge 2 it was not that simple as there is certainly the curiosity of wanting to know the difference between the challenge versions which I have not explored at this point in time.

Not a problem at all Doushibag. You are quite right that I have replayed the single player games to lower my turn score, but it was never really about trying to have the lowest turn scores of all players. It was more about finding the AI exploits, and seeing what the lower limits of the games were. I realize that this pretty much amounts to the same thing. I also realize you have stayed with your original turn scores, and I see the virtue in that.

Level 2 is of special note. It is the only game I replayed many, many times. The reasons are it is a very brief game and I could repeatedly obtain a 12 turn victory, often with only 1-5 enemy units remaining during turn 11, so I knew 11 turns was possible.

In case anyone is interested. challenge 2 is possible in 29 or maybe even 28 turns. I lost containment on an AI player around turn 25, and this allowed AI1 a card that I did not anticipate.

Well to be fair I did re-beat level 1, but none of the others. It was short and I went straight for victory and beat it on my first try with ease, but saw that it had been in one turn less and I had not counted the turns of my moves to see that they would get where they needed in time. So I replayed it to verify what I thought would work could and beat it with 6 when I had originally beat it with 7.

I haven't played version 4 at all so I have no idea how many turns it can be done it, but I trust Mor has done well to find its limits. As for the Scotsman joke I don't know what you're talking about, but I hope you aren't insulting my old dear friend.

I played level 1 the first time with like 11 turns, cause i captured the entire world.. i have a complex to capture everything, then tried again and won in 7, until i noticed someone else had it in 6, and went back and figured out how it was done, lol

challenge 2? crazy challenge? it's not so impossibile. my record is 25 turns. there's a high % of luck at the beginning if u have enemies close or distant
challenge 3, insane is impossible for me..
how can i save games?

Malamute, this is an old thread. The Insane challenge used to be called Challenge 2, that's what this is about. I think at least 10 and probably more people have beaten the Insane challenge now. And you can't save single player games (dammit) :)

Oh, never mind, I'm dumb. This IS about the Crazy challenge, I guess. I beat it in 20, but I don't think I could do it again in a hundred tries, that's how luck driven it is.

no, this is about the Insane challange.. he says it's 5v1, thus, insane.
he should read the topic about how it used to be.. 6v1 with smaller starting troops..

I just did! Won it in 35 turns after about 30 or so attempts. It is doable... with some luck... Need to get a descent amount of territories, then keep fortifying all directions except the one direction your going to move forward with. With a little luck, the AI's take each other out while you keep moving forward...

corran567. this is about insane challange, not crazy, not my previous post.

Here is where I am with single player.

Level 1 - 7 turns - I have played this numerous times, the best I can get is 7.
Level 2 - 17 turns
Level 3 - 21 turns
Europe - 19 turns
Crazy - 37 turns
Insane - I am fed up with this one. Have not beat it and I dont care to try anymore.

as soon as i saw someone with lvl 1 at 6, i had to figure it out.. think it took me 3-4 more tries to figure it out

i can't remember exactly what mine is, but it's pretty close to yours atm

Challenge 2 is 'Crazy'? I've beaten it in 26 turns...
