I'm curious how slow or fast it takes for it to load a video and which browser extensions run on that site, if any. End of load time is when all the suggested videos and icons load and when the video/ad appears or starts. To make it a fair test, use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ. Get a type of stopwatch and try to start it at the time time you click the link. Open the link in the current tab. To get the "user agent", use https://www.whatismybrowser.com/.

I always just assumed chrome was the best

It’s only slow if you open videos in new tab, rather than opening links in current tab. It’s like all of YouTube code is being loaded at once, rather than the relevant bits when they need to be accessed. Kind of like how opening a WarLight game takes so long in browser but instant for app/standalone.
