Hi,
New to Warlight, and loving it. What's with the 1minute boot option? If you choose it, does it really mean a player has to *complete* his turn within every minute or he can get booted, or do you just have to be at the screen playing your turn?

Most people seem to be cool unless you take a really long time or are a habitual long-turn-taker.

Cool, good to know. I'm still curious about the mechanics of it though, whether you have to finish your turn within one minute of the last turn ending, or if it's different than that somehow...

Yeah, you've assumed correctly: you must complete your turn before the boot time is up or you become 'bootable'. So if you do not complete your turn within 1 minute of a 1 minute boot game, the opposing player has the ability to boot you if he or she chooses.

So basically, only play those with people you know aren't jerks, or if you're able to play crazy fast... :)

Right, and as a tip, don't join one of these games unless the 'host' has already joined. Because you may be sitting waiting for 5 minutes for him to join, choose to get up to get a glass of water and come back to find yourself booted. Yes, I'm talking about you, General.

general boots ALL the time on 1 min games, hell boot you on the last turn if he is losing...WATCH OUT FOR HIM...bad sport
